I surmise you’ve all been anticipating such a yarn; who am I to deny such a thing? /wary smile

T’was quite the average day, with nary a breeze lifting one’s spirits, though the clear skies did prove otherwise. Prior to arriving at my workplace for the day, I spent a few minutes strolling through a nearby park, merely enjoying the weather as it was. Miniature birds alighted upon my very fingertips as I offered them, flitting away, scolding, the moment they realized that I had no treats to share.

And, thus, I began my scheduled day.

I tell you, my schooling does not provide for me the regular hours of sleep. I simply make do by napping extensively upon weekends and, as I am sorry to say, helping myself to far more coffee than is healthy. Perhaps I’d lingered about for too long in this park, or perhaps I had not acquired enough coffee to sustain me through the morning —

Around noon, I found myself drowsily awakening, still seated at my desk, from what appeared to be a deep sleep!

And how embarrassing it was to have one of my co-workers leaning in above me, a rolled-up newspaper in hand, while saying wryly, “Gakupo-san, you are quite the night owl, no?”

Aye, it certainly will not happen again.

Do enjoy what sleep you may all get now, my dears; you will learn to cherish some times.
